THE NEVER ENDING QUILT

This quilt was started over a year ago and until last weekend was living in a plastic bag in my closet. It was originally going to be a queen sized quilt with lots of those jagged looking strips. But at some point I realized that:

  1. I didn't really have enough fabric.
  2. I didn't really have enough patience.

And then Trish pointed out that it didn't have to be a queen sized quilt. Brilliant! So I pulled it out over the weekend and reworked it. It's a bit narrower and has less of those strips than I imagined but I'm pretty happy with it. Now I just have to decide on a backing fabric and start quilting. Original estimated finish date: 2015. Revised finish date: 2007. Not bad!
