BEACH & BURGERS
Saturday I met up with Trish, Jen & Andrew down at Kits beach. Since I was too late to join the girls in the pool I sat under a tree with Andrew and watched a group of guys practice their cocktail showmanship skills (a la Tom Cruise circa 1988). Who knew that kind of thing was still (or back) in fashion?
Then it was off to Moderne Burger for a late lunch. It's only been about a year and a half since they closed down for renovations and then kept taunting us with the promise of opening, month after month. But the wait is finally over and the food is just as good as ever. Welcome back Moderne Burger!
