PAPER CUT, PART II
I wish I could take full credit for this one but the drawing of the bird was originally done by Shawn. This paper cut was framed, packaged up and mailed to Shawn for his 40th birthday. I changed the background colour though and it's now a green colour. Since every birthday should include something sweet, I also included some cowboy cookies and videos of Graydon.
THE NEW CRAFT
I managed to complete this paper cut without cutting myself. Not bad! But as I started cutting I was thinking, why so many curves? Who's bright idea was that? Oh right, mine.

COFFEE CAKE
Monday was expected to be a crazy busy day at work so I thought that we could use a little treat to help get us through it all. I whipped up this Sour Cream Coffee Cake (from Everyday Food, March 2005) on Sunday night after getting home from another free Jazz Fest concert and dinner at La Casita. It was a late night but well worth the effort. As it turned out our day went more smoothly than anticipated but we ate the cake anyway.
